The National Capital Commission (NCC) is a Crown corporation of the Government of Canada. Our goal is to ensure that Canada’s Capital Region is a source of national pride and significance.

The NCC was created by Parliament in 1959. As a Crown corporation, it is accountable to Parliament, as set out in the Financial Administration Act, and reports through the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
