Leasing Opportunity at 401 Corkstown Road

Nepean National Equestrian Park

The National Capital Commission (NCC) is looking for public or private sectors parties interested in leasing the property located at 401 Corkstown Road, in Ottawa, known as the Nepean National Equestrian Park.

The NCC is seeking proponents with business opportunities that would allow for the site to continue to be accessible to the Canadian public, maintain the same or similar existing uses of the lands, conform to the revised Greenbelt Master Plan, and be ready for implementation of the project by January 2013. Proposals may also include the lease of the campground at 411 Corkstown Road. However, proposals that only address plans for 411 Corkstown Road will not be considered.

Expressions of interest will be evaluated by the NCC in terms of feasibility, viability, overall adherence to the stated objectives and their contribution to the NCC’s mandate to create a dynamic and vibrant capital that captures the hearts of Canadians.

Expressions of interest will be accepted until September 21, 2012 at 5 pm (Eastern Daylight Time).
