Beginning August 2, a portion of trail no. 1 between Kingsmere Road (Old Chelsea Picnic Area) and the Gatineau Parkway (Penguin Picnic Area) will be closed for a period of approximately six to eight weeks for rehabilitation of the trail surface.
The Ottawa Mountain Bike Association (OMBA) is involved in this project. OMBA’s technical advice will help optimize the quality of the multi-use trails to provide ideal conditions in both summer and winter.
