The Pathway Network for Canada’s Capital Region: 2006 Strategic Plan sets out a clear and common vision for the integrated network of pathways within Canada’s Capital Region. The plan serves as a valuable strategic planning tool for the NCC and the cities of Ottawa and Gatineau to ensure concerted efforts toward:
- future pathway planning;
- expansion;
- rehabilitation;
- marketing; and
- management of the Capital Pathway network.
The strategic plan will assist all stakeholders in providing adequate services to users, in order to make experiences on the Capital Pathway safe and enjoyable for visitors and residents.
The 2006 Strategic Plan was developed in collaboration with the City of Ottawa and Ville de Gatineau, and in consultation with stakeholders, interest groups and the public.
