The Société du 400e anniversaire de Québec was thrilled with the success of the Let’s Ring Out Together project and the participation of all provincial and territorial capitals, which rang bells in unison on July 3, 2008, to mark Québec City’s 400th anniversary. On November 6, 2008, a commemorative medallion was presented to Regina Mayor Pat Fiacco, President of the Canadian Capital Cities Organization (CCCO), in recognition of the CCCO’s role in this joint initiative. As well, Mr. Guy Laflamme, Vice-President, Capital Experience, Communications and Marketing at the National Capital Commission (NCC), who is also a member of the executive of the CCCO, received a medallion in recognition of the NCC’s contribution to the celebration of Québec City’s 400th anniversary.
