Winterlude 2012: A Great Success!

This year’s celebrations have ended, but join us again next year! The 35th edition of Winterlude will run from February 1 to 18, 2013.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors enjoyed the Capital’s winter celebrations over three fun-filled weekends in February. During Winterlude 2012, visitors were able to:

  • see a spectacular musical fireworks display on a clear winter night;
  • skate on the Rideau Canal, the world’s largest skating rink;
  • slide on the slippery slopes at the Snowflake Kingdom in Jacques-Cartier Park;
  • admire magnificent ice sculptures at Rogers Crystal Garden in Confederation Park;
  • dance outdoors every weekend at the Sub-Zero Music Series;
  • and much more!
