Temporary trail closures in Gatineau Park

Hikers and mountain bikers: Sections of trails 52 and 54 are closed for various periods in 2012–2013. Read on for specific dates.

Trail 52

Closed: Trail 52 (between Mill Road and trail 53)
When: July 25, 2012 to May 1, 2013
Reason: Construction works related to the extension of highway 5.
Note: For more information call the ministère des Transports du Québec at 819-772-3849.

Trail 54

Closed: Trail 54 (between trails 55 and 54 black)
When: October 22 to November 30, 2012
Reason: To replace a bridge damaged by the torrential rains in June 2011.
Note: You can access the Lusk Shelter via the 54 black trail.
