Camping and Cabins in Gatineau Park — Summer
Extend your adventures in Gatineau Park by staying overnight! We have three campgrounds, located at Philippe Lake, Taylor Lake and La Pêche Lake. Do you prefer to camp with a bed, roof and amenities? Reserve one of the Gatineau Park cabins, yurts or four-season tents!
The summer season for camping and cabins is from mid-May to mid-October. We also offer winter camping and cabins.
You can also spend the night at the Wakefield Mill, a beautiful inn within Gatineau Park.
Help us protect Gatineau Park:

Reservations
Reservations are required and are made on a first come, first served basis. The reservation period for summer cabins, yurts and four-season tents begins at 9 am on February 15 each year.

Camping
Pitch a tent and discover nature in the heart of Gatineau Park. Have an active outdoor holiday with hiking, cycling, boating and swimming while learning more about the Park’s wildlife, plants and trees. Or simply relax while listening to the restful sounds of the great outdoors. Gatineau Park offers a range of camping options, including canoe camping at La Pêche Lake.
- Philippe Lake — 253 campsites (family and group camping)
- Taylor Lake — 31 campsites (semi-wilderness family camping)
- La Pêche Lake — 32 campsites spread out over 12 locations (canoe-camping)
Cost
Campsites cost $39 per night.
Group campsites are available at Philippe Lake ($255 per site or $130 for non-profit organizations).
Reservations are required. A fee of $9.50 applies to each reservation and modification.

Cabins, Yurts and Four-Season Tents
Are you a nature enthusiast who prefers a little more comfort? Reserve a cabin, yurt or four-season tent for your stay in Gatineau Park!
There are one cabin, three yurts and four four-season tents available during the summer. Each type has beds and a source of heat; the differences are primarily related to their structures.
Cabin: Wooden building.
Yurt: Cone-shaped shelter that is set on a wooden platform.
Four-Season Tent: Rectangular tent-shaped shelter set on a wooden platform.
Reservations are required. A fee of $9.50 applies to each reservation and modification.
Taxes are included in the prices listed for each cabin, yurt and four-season tent.
Brown Lake Cabin
Brown Lake Cabin is in the north-eastern part of Gatineau Park, one of the most peaceful spots in the Park.

There are four new shelters at the Philippe Lake campground! Be among the first to stay in the four-season tents that are located at campsites 256, 257, 258 and 274.

Rentals
You can rent canoes and other small boats at Philippe Lake and La Pêche Lake.
You can rent mountain bikes and bike-trailers at the Philippe Lake campground general store. Rentals include helmets.
Emergency Assistance
In case of emergency, call 613-239-5353 or go to one of the Park shelters. Each shelter (except Shilly Shally) has an emergency radio communication system. Park shelters are marked by signs on the trails and are also marked on the Summer Trails map.
