Cycling in Canada's Capital Region

The Ville de Gatineau, in partnership with the NCC, is starting construction on this new 1.2 kilometre recreational pathway.

The new Cité-des-Jeunes Pathway will serve recreational users (cyclists, runners, walkers, etc.) as well as those commuting by bike. It will run along Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, connecting Boulevard des Hautes-Plaines and the Gatineau Park Pathway.

A public consultation was held in the winter of 2009 to determine the best route for the path. The consultation reports and a map of the pathway route can be found in the Maps and Publications box. The Cité-des-Jeunes Pathway contributes to the pathway network plans of both the NCC and the Ville de Gatineau. Learn more about the NCC’s plans for the Capital Pathway network.
