When bringing your pet to NCC parks, paths and other lands, please follow the NCC Animal Regulations.

A Friendly Reminder for Pet Owners

The NCC Animal Regulations govern where pets are allowed on NCC lands and whether they need to be on-leash. People who do not respect the Animal Regulations may be subject to fines, so make sure that you are familiar with them.

NCC lands include:

  • parks
  • recreational paths
  • shorelines
  • Gatineau Park
  • National Capital Greenbelt.

Some areas have both on-leash and off-leash sections. These areas are marked on our maps and by on-site signage. See the Regulations section for maps and a complete list of off-leash areas managed by the NCC.
